About Me
Hi there! I am Meghan Desocio, owner and founder of Polished Esthetics by Meg. I graduated Continental School of Beauty in 2017. My love for all things beauty began in my early twenties when I would rush home from college courses to dive into beauty videos. Shortly after I realized that was my true passion, I quickly enrolled in esthetics school.
I have been an esthetician for seven years and have loved every second of it. I worked within a day spa for the past six years before taking the steps to go out on my own. I specialize in customized facials, full body waxing, and lash lifts.
My ultimate goal as an esthetician is to exceed your expectations and go above and beyond to ensure that together we achieve your beauty needs. There is no “one size fits all” and it is my job to customize and tailor each treatment for my clients. I absolutely love forming relationships with my clients on their beauty journey, they truly feel like family.
I use the unique blend of medical grade skincare and luxury to create an experience that is both results driven and relaxing. I am certified in chemical peels, dermaplaning, lash lifts, brow lamination and Collagen Induction Therapy (also known as nano infusion).
Outside of the studio I enjoy traveling and being outdoors with my boyfriend Eric and dog Chance, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with my family at my home on the river. I would love to join you on your journey in simply enhancing your natural beauty!
Frequently Asked Questions
You do not need to schedule a separate consultation from your treatment. Whether it’s a facial or wax, you can book the service first and then when you come in, I will go over everything your treatment entails, health history, medications, and use of at home products. If you have any questions prior to your appointment, please do not hesitate to each out beforehand for any clarification. From there, together we will ensure the best treatment for you. We will also discuss what to expect during and after the treatment at the time of service.
You should stop using any exfoliant and/or retinols 5-7 days before your appointment. This will help prevent any sensitivities.
Typically, the hair should be grown out for 3-4 weeks without shaving or trimming in between. Make sure you are exfoliating regularly for best results.
